Community Day of Service

Community Day of Service On Saturday January 7th, The Governor and Lieutenant Governor will be hosting free events in communities across the state of Kansas in order to include every region of the Sunflower State in the 2023 inaugural festivities.

Governor Kelly and Lieutenant Governor Toland invite Kansans to participate in the Day of Service events to lend a hand to one of the numerous local charities the committee is partnering with across the state.

“The Day of Service is a great Kansas tradition, and demonstrates the impact we can all make in our communities,” Governor Laura Kelly said. “Volunteering makes our communities stronger, provides a sense of belonging, and improves lives.
