WHY SUPPORT THIS EVENT?

1. Shawnee Community Services has been helping our neighbors in need for 43 years.  All proceeds are used locally.

2. Our mission is to secure a better future for our neighbors in need without an application or waiting period.

3. Free bakery & perishable products are distributed to more than 175 families daily, 6 days a week; a 20% increase over 2024

4. $30,000 spent purchasing food stock for the pantry box program

5. In 2025 our Fuel Card Program spent $14,400 serving over 450 persons

6. In 2025 $24,000 was spent helping with prescriptions, utilities, flat tires, bus tickets, work shoes, phones, kitchen wares and more.

7. 109 children received a new backpack full of school supplies Aug 2025

8. 20 families were adopted for Christmas 2025

9. The mortgage payment is $3,077 a month.

10. 501c3 independent, non-governmental charity.  Tax receipts available.
