COVID-19 & SCS

At SCS, we are committed to serving the needs of our consumers while considering the health and well-being of our employees & volunteers. We understand the concern and uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19). We intend to conduct our regular hours of operation. The situation has

changed rapidly and we are striving to keep up with feeding our community.

We will post here and on FB any changes that may become necessary in the coming days.

We are posting the latest information available; using Clorox wipes; frequently sanitizing counters & other surfaces touched by our volunteers and consumers; we are encouraging social distancing and

frequent hand washing.

Our pantry is in need of non-perishables, specifically protein products like peanut butter, can chicken

and can beans. We can put any product you can spare to good use.

Additionally, funds are needed more than ever to continue to provide gasoline to doctor appointments, bus passes, prescriptions, utility bills, etc. Our garage sales fundraiser can not keep pace with the demand as our consumers are "isolated" or have their hours reduced as businesses are required to shut down. All funds stay local and go to direct assistance, not administration.
